About this work

Four glasses with depictions of professions in a wooden frame. A fifth glass (second from the left) is missing. Farthest to the left: the musician plays a lute. To the right of that: missing. In the middle: the instrument-maker, holding a lute in his left hand, with a cello to his left and right. To the right of that: the embroiderer, seated at a table by the window. Farthest to the right: the tailor, standing behind a table with a piece of textile on it, working with needle and thread.
