Cooling vessel with a gadrooned border and a hollow egg border, on three claw feet

The object consists of a bowl driven from a single sheet, three feet and two handles, which are made of the same material. They are provided with a driven and punched decoration. The feet are in the form of claw feet. The bowl has a nearly flat bottom and a slightly convex wall that narrows towards the top, set between two narrow upright sections. This is divided by a rib indicated as a cord into two parts: the lower convex part is decorated with a godron border, the upper straight part by a hollow egg border. The narrow upright sections at the bottom and top are decorated with a pattern of dots and semicircles. The wide rim has a driven and punched zigzag decoration against a background of small circles and is presumably reinforced all around with iron wire. The handles, which are in the form of a curl and are riveted to the bowl with red copper nails, have a corresponding decoration of dots and semicircles, with ANNO indicated in the middle on one handle and 1633 on the other.
