About this work

The object consists of the following five parts: the part for attachment to the wall, two pieces forming the arm, the part under the drip pan, which is riveted to the arm with a copper pin, the drip pan with the candle pin. The round wall part is decorated with knops. The first part of the arm consists of a base decorated with leaf motifs onto which the piece connects, which on one side consists of a curl decorated with acanthus leaves, on the other side a node decorated with acanthus leaves. Then comes the upward-bending part decorated with cannelures with a projection between hollow round profiles at the end. On this the drip pan with the pin is placed. This is provided with knops at the bottom and has a base in the shape of a vase.
