About this work
Armchair of cherrywood with walnut stretchers and a rush seat. The front legs, the H-shaped cross, and the three stretchers are turned and partially fluted. The flat, slightly hollowed armrests rest on turned supports, which are fixed through the side seat rails into the side stretchers thickened at that place. The slightly hollowed back has square stiles and rails and a middle rail with open fluting. The upper rail has a projection at the corners and in the center.
