About this work

Armchair of cherry or plum wood. The furniture has a rush seat and rests on legs featuring house and jointing, connected by an H-shaped cross and a rear stretcher. The front top stretcher is flat and symmetrically pierced along a wavy line. The arm supports and back stiles are decorated like the legs. Three back stretchers are pierced. The slightly hollowed armrests end in a volute decorated with an acanthus leaf. The back stretchers are made of walnut.
