About this work
Rosewood chair with a rush seat. The legs feature turned joints and are connected by eight curved stretchers. The back stiles are treated like the legs and end at the top in turned vases with spheres, connected by three slightly hollowed, flat stretchers, the top one of which is scalloped at the top. Some stretchers are made of walnut.
