About this work
Chair of walnut. The furniture is caned and has serpentine legs, connected by an H-shaped cross. The back has free-standing serpentine stiles and the back frame, like the front apron, features acanthus leaves with open flower calyxes. In the front apron and in the upper rail of the back, two amorini are placed on either side of an eagle. The feet and stiles have rosettes, the seat frame laurel leaves.
