About this work

Jug (schnelle) of stoneware with cylindrical, tapering body and C-shaped handle. Profiles under the rim and above the foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the front of the jug in relief three times an elongated, pressed and applied panel with a portrait in a medallion between scrollwork. Cologne/Frechen.
