About this work

The object, composed of several parts, consists of a drum with a lid attached by a hinge, two masks for attaching the two-part handle with a wooden grip. The drum and lid are profiled and have a more or less diamond-shaped outline. The bottom is reinforced with two copper plates. Two wooden footrests are mounted on the rim. In the lid, a domed plate with sawn squares was presumably riveted at a later date. An eye of a handle arm is broken. The basin is missing.
