About this work

Round lead plaque, surrounded by a braided band. On the right Diana with two companions in a square basin with a water-spouting mask. From the left Actaeon approaches, a spear in his right hand and two dogs at his feet. The goddess sprinkles him with spring water, causing him to turn into a stag. Landscape with palm trees and in the distance trees and buildings against a mountainside.
