Strip of bobbin lace with ornamental border of compact stylized flowers

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. Below a scattered pattern of two rows of one-sided flower sprigs with a flower with three round petals, running along the lower side a decorative border. This consists of a series of upright stout flowers in two variants. They are alternately a drop-shaped stylized flower between two leaves and a stylized flower in the form of a fork with three teeth between two leaves. The motifs are made with thicker and shiny contour threads within which a decorative ground, a rose ground, is applied or not. The stems of the flowers in the scattered pattern and the fork flowers are made in sparingly applied linen stitch. Around all motifs run thicker and shiny contour threads. The motifs are connected to each other by a lattice ground, a tulle ground. Top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, the lower side provided with picots.
