About this work
Coat of black wool, decorated on the standing collar and cuffs with vines of acorns and oak leaves in silver thread; silver buttons with a crown in fortress shape. At the time of entry, only the frock coat is present. Attached to the coat is a copy of a Six-card of an office chain, on which it is stated that this office chain was worn by jhr. mr. P.J. Teding van Berkhout in his capacity as mayor of Baarn. No inventory number is mentioned on this card, and at the time of entry I do not know how this coat is linked to this chain. This record therefore still requires a check-up and correction (17-09-96/Rosa01).
