Goblet with the coat of arms of William III and the coat of arms of Breda

Flat foot with a turned-up rim. The stem consists of two hollow, ribbed knobs between two pairs and one trio of discs. Conical cup with a rounded base featuring a pincer ornament ('nipt-diamond-waies'). On the cup, the crowned coat of arms of Stadtholder King William III (1650–1702), flanked on the left by a lion and on the right by a unicorn; surrounded by the garter with the inscription: HONY SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. Below the coat of arms, a scroll with the motto: JE MANTIENDRAI. On the other side, the crowned coat of arms of the city of Breda, flanked by two lions. On the foot, a stylized leaf vine.
