Extinguishing the severe fire between the Elandsgracht and the Elandsstraat in Amsterdam, caused by lightning in the night of July 27, 1679. Firefighting is attempted from various houses using fire pumps. To illustrate skilled firefighting with hose fire pumps. Five lines of inscription in Dutch and French. Center top: 8th Figure.
