View of the side of the First Sint-Antonies Gate in Amsterdam. On the right in the background the Oude Kerk. This fifteenth-century building came within the city (on the Nieuwmarkt) after the city expansions at the end of the sixteenth century and thus lost its function as a city gate. In 1617-1618 it was converted into a weigh house. At the bottom of the image, left of center, numbered: I. Subject category within the Atlas Amsterdam: Gates, composite sheets, C. St. Antonies Gate.
