About this work
Floor plan of the Amsterdam Schouwburg on the Keizersgracht. Title in the lower right, below it the scale bar: Scale of 80 Amsterdam feet. This city theatre was designed by Jacob van Campen and built on the site of Samuel Coster's Dutch Academy (at the location of the current Keizersgracht 384). It opened on December 26, 1637.
