About this work

Small silver medal. Obverse: Wisdom with a pruning knife and raised finger, with a winged boy leaning on the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments, with a book inscribed PA/V. EP/H. 6:, in a landscape with a radiant sky, with legend and field text. Reverse: Apollo with a goose feather and cornucopia amidst symbols of art and science and a blooming tree, with legend; in the field the incomplete year 174 modified and completed with type stamps to 1751.
