About this work
Silver medal. Obverse: under a tree, from which hangs a shield with inscription and whose trunk is wrapped with a ribbon with inscription, sits a woman; next to her stands an inverted horn of plenty against the tree, from which grain, grapes, money, and a torch roll; in the foreground lies a child on the ground, covered by the woman with a veil; to the right, two weeping children illuminated by an all-seeing eye in a radiant triangle within a legend; field: inscription. Reverse: crowned shield surrounded by fourteen shields of regents and regentesses of the orphanage, tied with ribbons, within a legend.
