Silver medal, obverse: a woman from the clouds handing a child to the Dutch Maiden, between altar and censer and a pillar with lamp and Bible, under the all-seeing eye of God, with legend and field text, reverse: three commemorative pillars, inscribed 1572, 1672, and 1772, the last adorned with the shields of the stadtholder, his wife, and the Union, in the foreground attributes of shipping and trade, with legend.
