About this work
Cast silver medal, on the obverse Utrecht as seated Pallas, leaning against an altar amidst academic symbols, opposite the Dutch Republic as Hercules with bundle of arrows in the Utrecht Council Chamber, with legend and edge text, on the reverse a field with eight lines of text, at the top a legend and the academic coat of arms between laurel branches, at the bottom Rhine God and Vecht Swan.
