About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: Maypole decorated with laurel wreaths, below which a crowned coat of arms stands between two armors, flags and war equipment, below that a crowned coat of arms, with a ribbon binding four coats of arms at the top of the Maypole. Exergue: HOLTZHEY F.(eit). Reverse: inscription under five coats of arms bound together with a ribbon, over which lies a pennant with inscription. Inscription: DEZE VEREERT,/ AAN DE ONDER/OFFICIEREN EN ROTSGESELLEN/ VAN HET GROENE/ VAENDEL, WEGENS/ DE HONDERDSTE MEY/ PLANTING, GEDAAN,/ DEN 1 MEY 1734 DOOR/ DEN LUITENANT/ ANTONI GOUZY.
