The sixth sleigh in the procession. A sleigh with the city maiden of Leiden, drawn by a horse and followed by two city criers on foot. Part of a series of twelve plates of the sleigh ride on 24 January 1776 organized by the Leiden society Veniam Pro Laude on the occasion of the Second Centenary of the Liberation of Leiden (3 October 1574) and the founding of the University of Leiden (8 February 1575).
