Hall of the Amsterdam Schouwburg on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam

This city theatre was designed by Jacob van Campen and was built on the site of Samuel Coster's Nederduitse Academie (at the location of the current Keizersgracht 384). The opening was on December 26, 1637. In 1665, the building was extensively renovated, and in 1772 it burned down. In the margin, the title and a six-line verse in Dutch.
