The Marriage Trap, allegory on marriage. Couples walk arm in arm into a large trap or net under the accompaniment of music from a small orchestra. Cupid sits on top of the trap. Putti dance around a bridal couple with flower baskets. Men and women walk around the trap, making various erotic allusions. On the right, Death waves a hatchet.
