About this work

Wedding print with an allegorical representation: the groom as father standing beside Faith, the bride as mother sitting on the ground nursing her child next to the lion and the lamb. Father Time sits at the wedding altar with a blank scroll. With other symbolic elements and personifications. Possibly intended as a wish letter to be presented by a child to his parents.
