About this work

An Amsterdam fishmonger sits beside her baskets of fish. She accosts a gentleman in a blue coat to buy something from her. Numbered at the top: 9. The print is accompanied by a sheet with the French title. Part of the reduced copies from 1806 after the plates of Dutch national costumes from the years 1803-1807. Subject categories within the Atlas Zeden en Gewoonten: De Kleeding, Volkskleederdracht.
