About this work
A golden beaker promised by stadtholder Willem IV to the Hague civic guard and presented by Princess Anna on 8 May 1753 after his death. The beaker is decorated with cornucopias, rocailles, garlands, rocaille cartouches with putti and rocaille cartouches with texts.
