About this work
Patriotic board game about national history. A snail race with 80 numbered squares, starting with number 1, the Batavian Revolution, and ending with number 80, the School for Navigation in Amsterdam. Not only events but also portraits of important persons are included. The most recent depicted events are from the year 1786, number 79. A booklet with the game rules accompanies the board. Subject categories within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Games and Amusements; parlor games, snail races, and similar.
