About this work

Spiral board game with numbered squares from 1 to 80, presenting a visual narrative of Dutch history in 80 portraits and scenes, beginning with the arrival of the Batavians and ending with the swearing-in of the militia in Utrecht in 1786. Centrally located at 80 is an image of the maritime training school built in Amsterdam in 1785. Surrounded by an ornamental border.
