View of the Second Reguliers Gate and its associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. Various figures and livestock on the bridge. Many people on the bank. This wooden city gate, built in 1587, was demolished in 1654 and replaced by the stone Third Reguliers Gate, completed in 1655. Part of a print series of Amsterdam city gates.
