View of the Second Regulierspoort and the associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. Various figures and cattle on the bridge. Many people on the bank. This wooden city gate, built in 1587, was demolished in 1654 and replaced by the stone Third Regulierspoort, completed in 1655. Part of a print series of Amsterdam city gates.
