View of the Second Reguliers Gate and the associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. On the bridge various figures and cattle. On the bank many people. This wooden city gate built in 1587 was demolished in 1654 and replaced by the stone Third Reguliers Gate, which was completed in 1655. Part of a print series of Amsterdam city gates.
