View of the rear facade and part of the garden of the Corvershof on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam. Several figures walk on the central path. On both sides high hedges with paths. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, put into use in 1723, intended for older married couples of the Dutch Reformed (later Remonstrant) faith. Subject headings within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Poverty and Charity.
