About this work

View of the rear facade and part of the garden of the Corvershof on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam. On the central path several figures are walking. On both sides of it high hedges with paths. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, put into use in 1723, intended for older married couples of the Nederduits Gereformeerde (later Hervormde) church.
