About this work

View of the rear facade and part of the garden of the Corvershof on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam. On the central path a number of figures are walking. On both sides thereof high hedges with paths. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, taken into use in 1723, intended for elderly couples of the Dutch Reformed (later Reformed) faith.
