About this work
Cloris and Roosje dance at their wedding. On the platform two violin players, of whom the woman raises the glass. On the right the guests and a man, who gives a speech from a barrel. At the bottom in the margin the coat of arms of and a dedication to Jan Jacob de Bruyn, who had the original painting in his collection. Scene from the song play De bruiloft van Cloris en Roosje.
