About this work

Percussion pistol with an octagonal rifled barrel. Walnut half-stock and stock, which is diamond-grooved. The stock has an iron butt plate engraved with a vine motif. The iron lock and hammer are decorated with engraved vines. The trigger guard is made of iron and is decorated with floral motifs; the furniture under the stock is also decorated with engraved floral motifs. The ramrod tube under the stock is made of iron; the ramrod is missing. On the side of the barrel is the Liège mark ELG engraved. On the butt is an iron tang, and at the end of the barrel is an iron front sight bead.
