Copper-silvered trowel with a wooden handle. The blade is triangular with rounded corners. Text on the trowel blade on the upper side: 'On 28 October 1955, His Excellency Dr. W. Drees, Prime Minister, laid a commemorative stone with this trowel in the NOV home in Oosterbeek'. NOV = Nederlands Onderwijzers Verbond (Dutch Teachers' Association). This association existed since 1941 and was dissolved in 1973.
