Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lockplate is engraved with a signature and on the tail of the plate with some foliage. The barrel is marked at the rear with the coat of arms of Utrecht and at the bottom with the mark ISP; the barrel is provided with three incised rings; the front sight bead is of iron; the tail of the barrel is engraved with an inscription. The stock is simply carved with edges and foliage. The iron furniture consists of two ramrod tubes, the screw plate in the form of a sea serpent with pierced curls, the trigger guard, and the butt cap with a point at the bottom and long traces on the sides; ramrod with iron cap.
