Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lockplate is decorated at the edges with wavy curls in relief; the flint is chiselled in relief as a trefoil; provided with a signature. The round barrel has flattened faces at the rear and a rib running over the top to the iron front sight bead; provided with a signature; above the tail of the barrel is the notched rear sight. The stock is simply carved with edges and foliage. The iron furniture consists of the butt cap and trigger guard decorated and suite with the lockplate, the butt cap also with a lily, a pierced thumb plate and a screw plate as a snake with extensions in the form of foliage and a dragon's head, and two ramrod tubes; the ramrod is fitted with an iron cap.
