Flintlock pistol

Part of a pair. The lock plate is engraved with a Classical warrior and a signature; a vertical border of leaves is chased on the tail of the lock plate and plaitwork with leaves on the cock. The barrel is divided into three parts by rings, the middle and shortest part being chased with plaitwork with leaves like the lock; the front sight is of silver; the barrel is stamped at the rear with the city mark of Utrecht and at the bottom with a mark in the form of a crowned heart (not on 143-A). The stock is simply carved.
