Double-barrelled flintlock wheel-lock pistol

Heavy pistol. The lock is simply engraved with arabesques and a signature; the pans are rainproof. The two barrels are mounted one above the other and feature a silver front sight patch chased in the shape of a grotesque mask. The stock consists of two parts: a grooved fore-end with the ramrod in one of the grooves, and a tapering grip. The gilded brass furniture includes, among other things, a cornered trigger guard with the release lever for the rotating barrel mechanism and engraved with the number 15, a screw plate of pierced leafy vines with a mermaid, and a butt cap with leafy vines in relief and a grotesque mask at the bottom; the blackened wooden ramrod has an iron cap.
