Flintlock Musket of the Amsterdam Civic Guard

Flintlock musket of the Amsterdam Civic Guard. The lock plate is signed and stamped on the inside with the letters CM or GM. The barrel is stamped on top with the coat of arms of Amsterdam and engraved with the number 38, stamped on the bottom with the letters i and N; under the muzzle, a bayonet socket is attached. The stock is simply carved. The brass furniture includes, among other things, an acolyte-shaped screw plate, three sliding barrel bands according to the Austrian model, and an oval thumb plate engraved with W = 37; there are two iron hinged straps and the steel ramrod is engraved with the number 38.
