Flintlock musket of the States Army

The lock plate is signed and stamped on the inside with the letters GB. On a ring at the back of the barrel, the coat of arms of Amsterdam is stamped, and at the bottom two stamps: PIF and NR; under the muzzle, a bayonet socket is attached. The stock is simply carved. The brass furniture includes, among other things, an acolyte-shaped screw plate, three sliding barrel bands, and an unadorned thumb plate; the hinged straps are made of iron, as is the ramrod.
