About this work

The lock plate is stamped on the inside with an unclear mark. At the back of the barrel is a wide ring with thereon the remains of the Amsterdam mark and at the bottom unidentifiable marks; under the muzzle is a bayonet socket. The stock is simply carved. The brass furniture includes, among other things, two sliding barrel bands, an S-shaped screw plate, and a thumb plate engraved with 1782 // W.K. 31. // N=89; the ramrod is made of steel.
