About this work

Album leaf with nine studio portraits of Javanese dignitaries, their sons, and a wife. Central portrait of a Chinese lieutenant. Further, among others, three photographs of the son of Mandoer Senin. Part of the second green photo album with photographs of Java, formerly owned by pharmacist Specht-Grijp, who returned to the Netherlands from Batavia in 1865.
