About this work
A soldier, full-length, carrying a spear (lance) with his left hand at his right side, the point directed diagonally upward. This is the second movement for lowering the spear to pass under an overhang. This print is part of the series of 32 hand-numbered prints of spear carriers in the Wapenhandelinghe.
