About this work

Sea chart of the coast of the northwest coast of Africa from Morocco to Gambia with the Canary and Cape Verde islands. With one compass rose, North is to the left. Two ships at sea. Inscription flanked by a lion and a leopard, above it a crowned coat of arms with three half moons. Bottom right scale in German, Spanish and English or French miles (ca. 1:6,580,000).
