About this work

Flag with stripes red-white-blue; at the top and bottom narrow stripes red-white-blue with corresponding short fringe. On white a scene: on the left land, on the right sea. On the left Mercury amidst merchandise in crates, barrels and sacks. Rope, credit panels, globe, anchor and horn of plenty. Behind it a sailing ship. On the right at sea Neptune, on a sleigh drawn by two horses. From the right come two ships under a red-white-blue flag; on the pennant: W III. Furthermore the signs: 10; 20; 30. On the merchandise on the left: 1881; JAVA; HAVANA; MANELLA; RAPPE: nos. 1050-1065. Inscription: KOOPHANDEL EN ZEEVAART. In a narrow white band below: TR.19.N.O.M.
