About this work

Allegorical medallion with a depiction of some Volunteer Hunters of the Utrecht University, 1830. On the ground in front of the medallion lie weapons and parts of armor. On both sides flags, on the right a flag with the city coat of arms of Utrecht. At the top attributes of university study: books, pen and paper, with a putto with a helmet blowing a horn.
